From what i see, you can do Total War Arena PvPs but its not a very functional type.
in the future part of the game.
Camp vs Camp & Guild vs Guild (of Opposing Camps) with domain control, and War between Camps starts at Lv 24 (the tutorial) still gonna be waiting till we find out they will actually put it in.
unless u dont care bout historic accuracy.
I see the hero is obviously more important in battle than they used to be in TW:A, but the idea that your hero goes into a full-scale battle with 3 units, and that they all gain xp and level up and get stronger over time made me think they were very similar games, certainly not completely different genres!
What am I missing? Is it just that it's very PVE?
It has a strategy aspect that isn't nearly as boring as a TW game.
If TW was related to checkers, this would be chess. Even on the hardest settings TW is just too easy. Arena was fun while it lasted, long term wasn't there.
(And dont get me wrong, I love me some TW but it just gets boring fast, this does not)
That said this game has a slew of issues, the main one being content. You can complete everything well under a month with heavy playtime.
