What is D6?

I've heard many people refer to something in the game called a D6. Is it a 6-sided die item? What does it do?

It rerolls the items you get from treasure rooms and bosses, it's considered one of the best items in the game by a lot of people. Isaac starts with it after you beat mom 10 times (or something like that I can't remember)

It is an item unlocked by beating the Womb with ??? or "Blue Baby." It is a 6 sided die that allows you to re roll item pick ups, such as items from treasure rooms, boss rooms, items received from either judgement, the high priced item in the shop, and items in the devil room.

Anything that sits on a pedistal like the item room items can be re-rolled. Once it is unlocked, Isaac starts with it every run as his space-bar item, and it's a 3 room charge. There is no limit to how many times you can reroll a certain item in a room, if you can get the charges for it.

It is an item that Isaac starts out with by completing the Womb with ???. To unlock ???, you have to beat the game 10 times if I'm not mistaken where Isaac finds him locked in the chest. The item can reroll any power ups (i.e. Mom's Heels into Dinner) You cannot reroll any pickups, but there is an item called the D20 that can change the pickups. It will only reroll powerups, but the power ups that you can't reroll are from the horseman or a specific boss that gets you the same items once you defeat it (i.e. You cannot reroll the cube of meat into something else dropped by the horseman) Hope this helped

The D20 is unlocked by completing Cathedral with Isaac. It changes pickups like (Keys, hearts, bombs, etc. Each pickup has a chance to become a chest, a troll bomb, or a pill. This is considered better than the D6 because unlike the D6, it can change anything dropped by enemies (For example, you can turn a troll bomb into a dime.) while the D6 can only change items.

Use the D20 in the secret room, where you can find 9 coins-->9 items, also chests!!

Once you unlock it you can also find the D6 in normal treasure rooms, something I do is that if I find the D6 but I have an inferior active item, I switch the items and then use the D6 to turn my old item into something that is hopefully a passive item
