7 Years Bad Luck? I think not.

I don't really understand the 7 years bad luck challenge. On the first floor I didn't get an item room and got a pretty bad boss item (I think it was tears/range up). Second floor I pick up a pill, and knowing they'll all be bad, use it to find the "I am Error" room with Polyphemus and a bunch of pills, including another telepills. the boss room I get an HP upgrade and Deal with a Devil room to find good ol' Mom's knife :D The next floor I go into the shop to find Book of Revelations on sale.

Sadly the challenge doesn't go to the chest but that was one of the luckiest runs I've had.

Oddly enough, that challenge was the luckiest I've ever had, too.

Luck is a value that can either be positive or negative (influenced by luck up, luck down, and other effects), and somewhat counter-intuitively, negative luck isn't necessarily "bad." IIRC, negative luck actually makes it so that you get more item drops.

'7 yrs bad luck' its just equal to 5 luck down pills however you get more luck every floor
