Book of sin not unlocking

So I just recently wrapped up my last sheol run with eve. Now I want to wrap up the last of the achievments for the base game before installing WotL. Looking at my achievement list I noticed that I am still missing "The Book of Sin" achievement. Now I am pretty sure I have beaten all of the sin mini bosses by now.

After a quick google search I stumbled upon this thread: Thread

Which mentions a few methods another user took to get it to unlock, but contains no detail as to how these are performed. If anyone could give me some tips as to how I should go about getting this thing to unlock (without deleting my save please) I would greatly appreciate it.

Bonus question: Any good tips or guides for Spelunker/Dark/Mamma's Boy?

to get the spelunker/mama/dark boy just stay focused and use cain for some luck. as for the book of sin maybe try playing the game multiple times until your 100% sure you've fought all seven.

I am fairly certain that I have fought and beaten all seven, my last run alone I beat sloth, lust, and greed. I have about 40 hours put into the game and am certain that I have beaten pride, wrath, envy, and gluttony within that time. This leads me to believe that it is some kind of achievement not triggering issue (from what I understand that is not uncommon) and I need some kind of workaround to get it to trigger.

As far as the no damage runs I just seem to be unlucky or not so great at dodging, maybe a combination of the two. I have come really close to spelunker boy a few times and mamas boy once. I find that flight items are a blessing when it comes to avoiding damage, they just seem to be really rare drops for me at least.

I'm having the same problem with Book Of SIn. Terrible to spend all the time going for 100% to find out that it won't work because of a bug. Any work around?

Hi bm6, I did eventually get this one to unlock a while back. I verified my game cache and my next run I ran into sloth, after beating him it popped. To verify your cache right click on the binding of isaac in your games list -> go to properties -> local game files tab -> verify integrity of game cache.

I ran across this solution which someone else used for a different achievement, can't remember which achievement though. As you probably know by now the achievements for BoI are buggy but if your persistant you will eventually get them, hopefully this will help you get this one.
