Just completed Challenge 10 and did ??? at the same time for kicks. Spent a heart on Mom's Knife which sorted me out for damage, White Pony from Conquest solved my evasion and three Pretty Fly's for defese. Otherwise, no special drops, six red hearts by the end. The only advise I can give is the same advise that applies to the rest of the them, don't get hurt, take unknown pills early game, always go for a Sacrifice Room if you can afford it, grind slot machines for Pretty Fly, Shell Games for Skatole and Fortune Telling Machine for Soul Hearts. Always use Blood Donation Machines if you have the hearts lying around, never just hope for a Blood Bag. Always spend money on Beggars before other gambling, great way to get health for very little money.
If you're really stuck and haven't completed the rest of the game, go do the normal game and unlock whatever drops you can. Something like Maggy's Guardian Angel is a huge leg up in terms of defense.
@Shoot the Doctor FIRST! I already do just about everything you suggested, except for using Sacrifice Rooms. They never seem to be worth it for me. Maybe I just have bad luck.
@mojo7771 I wouldn't quite say that TBoI is an addiction for me, but it is close, I suppose. I simply ADORE the artwork and gameplay.
At this point i think this game is bad for health.
Oh, but obvious after the Womb it's not a good gamble. Two hearts at that stage of the game is too much.
This game has no need of brain and is base on luck , too much luck.
You can use some technics but sometimes there are just too much going on the screen and some rooms are more difficult than bosses :)
Just imagine if you were able to choose your first two objects , won't you beat that game easier ?
Of course yes and that's where luck has too much weight in the balance IMO , we should'nt spend 150 h on this kind of game repetiting over over expecting good stuff , can you accept this point of view ?
I really don't care about beating games and achievements.
What do i care is fun times , good mechanics and this game is a great idea and well design but what i say is that do we need to spend a lots of hours on a luck mechanic cause it's the base of this game.
My answer is no and yours is " you are a creep , you can't beat the game nananana you are butthurt " .
Sorry i'm not used to schoolyard anymore since long ago.
I think you misunderstand; by "Sacrifice Room," I mean that room where you have to walk over the spikes a couple of times to get random drops. I think you mean "Curse Room" by the room with the spikes in the doorway and one-two red chests. I almost always go for the latter, it's the former that never seem to pay off for me.
yah most of time i will only use it if i have something that make me invincible and its funny chest alway pop the first or 2 walk but without sometime it can took 6-7 hit =/
then if you think the game is 100% luck based then move on and you miss the whole point of this game and its just not for you idc if you like it or not
And that's why i stopped playing it even though i had good times with it.
sure just like poker lets have a royal flush everyhand it would be easier to win millions >> such a stupid way to see this game
