Does the Bible stop spawning at some point?
I've been playing for like 4 days straight trying to get the no damabge on The Depths and The Womb, and I have not seen the Bible ONCE in about 50+ (I quit if I get hit in The Depths) games. Even while using the D6.

Even in the Library rooms where I use the D6 3-4 times it never spawns. Even when I pick up the Rosary. It just never shows up.

I think you need the rosary to spawn the bible.. or at least raise the chances of it showing up

The Rosary makes the Bible spawn like 7 more times per game, which I have gotten, but I still ahven't seen it.

Used to see it a lot,b ut now that I actually WANT it to get past Mom's foot easily I can't get it...lol

Eh, you'd be surprised how easy it is to avoid the foot.

I know how easy it is. I've beaten it about 100 times already. I just don't want to have to worry about it if I get that far undamged. I want to walk in and BAM...it's over. Achievement done.

Every time I get int here with no damage I get the luck of the hand shooting out at just the right time to ♥♥♥♥ it all up.

No, it's just because it's an Angel Room and Shop item (if you have the rosary)

It might be Treasure Room too, but my Isaac knowledge temporarily died a bit after I got Spelunky, so that might not be correct. I do know that it's not a Library item though, despite it clearly being a book.

Not Secret Room. The Bible will show up constantly in The Shop if you have the rosary, or any time (regardless of rosary) in the Angel Room.

OK thanks. Sure I've seen it other places, but maybe not.

Guess I'll save my cash and D6 charges for teh shop then.

Re: Libraries, where I feel they ought to spawn, but could be wrong, are you picking up the presented books first before re-rolling them? If you walk in, see no Bible, and re-roll, those previous books can still be in rotation. But once you've picked them up, they no longer get used. If you get lucky, with several libraries in a run, you can even have them giving you general treasure room items when it runs out of books to use.

The Bible is not in the Library item pool, which is what I meant to say. I'm fairly certain it's only a Shop (with rosary) and Angel Room item. No matter how often you remove the Library spacebar items from rotation, The Bible won't show up there, unless the item can be a Treasure Room item, of which that I am unsure of (leaning towards no).

Ah, yes, the wiki does seem to indicate it's not in the Library, but it does say it can be found in Treasure rooms. And that, yes, the rosary increases the chances, which I was unaware of.

The beggar will give you a Shop or Treasure Room item unless you're in a specific area, in which case it will give you an item tied to that item pool. For example, if you spawn using Judgment in a Devil Room, you'll get Devil Room items. If you spawn in a Secret Room, you'll get Secret Room items.

Devil Beggar has a chance of giving Devil/Angel items anywhere. It can also give you normal treasure room items, too. Otherwise, Devil Beggar has the same item pool tying properties as a normal Beggar as far as I can tell.

Man...still seems crazy I haven't seen it in so long. I used to see it a lot when I never wanted it. Always get it on the 1st floor or something.

Be nice if I could get the Rosary and D6 the rooms on Caves 2 for a while, or even pull the shovel once in a while and get The Emperor Card.

I had a Fortune card and tried to do that trick with the fly in the boss room on the first floor with 56 coins and it didn't spawn once. My luck is brutal this week...lol
