can't shoot up or left?

Hey all,

I have done crazy research trying to fix this, installing/reinstalling both joytokey and binding of issac to no avail. My issue is I can move around just fine, drop the bomb, use items, but for the life of me I can't get my guy to shoot up or left. I have reconfigured the Joytokey setup about 50 times trying to get it to work. A,D,W,S,arrow left, right, up, down, space, space. (stick 1 through axis 5) then for buttons 1 through 8, arrows: down, right, left, up q,e,f, escape. Got the info from this blog here:

I don't know why this isn't working. On the "calibrate analog stick" tab, with the x,y,z, rx,ry,rz sliders, all my controls work through that, so I know my controller is working just fine.

One other thing to note, my keyboard controls are also not able to shoot up or left as well, maybe somewhere along the line I reconfigured the keys in the game different? I have been searching but I can't even find anywhere in the game to reconfigure the controls..

bah, I posted it and literally got it working 5 minutes later. And to think how many hours I spent trying to get it to work. I had the idea that maybe my keys got rebound somewhere and was flipping through the options. I hit azerty off, and now all of a sudden I can shoot all four ways! I don't know what azerty does, but damn you it was a pain in my ass! 8P
