Guppy? Good or bad?

What do you think about Guppy, (get three Guppy items, and then you turn to a cat) is it a good "character"? Once I had it, unlocked Guppy's Hairball(: Is there any special about it?

For the most part I do go after the Guppy items whenever possible in hopes of getting the transformation since it often seals a win for me. Usually I'll just pick up then leave behind Guppy's Head since I don't care for it much; Guppy's Paw I'll sometimes keep depending on my situation; Guppy's Tail obviously you have to keep if you pick it up. Dead Cat can be iffy, but if you're already at 1HP for whatever reason then there's no real reason to leave it. Indeed, that's an advantage to playing Judas or Samson if you happen to find Dead Cat early before getting health upgrades.

As for the Hairball, I don't really care for it that much, though I'd imagine you could occasionally get some good use from it. Perhaps if you got it leveled up for some of the stationary bosses it could be really useful.

I always go for guppy. It is the best combination of items in the game in my opinion. While it is not as overpowered as some combos it is my favorite thing to get.

Transforming into Guppy has got to be one of the most OP things in the game. You start spawning flies like crazy, so it's really at least using one time the Guppy items if you feel like it's need.

I always hunt for Guppy.. by far overpowered lol. If you have high tears rate and you've turned into guppy, the spam of flies will mean a WIN.

any tricks to get 3 guppy item ? im over 70 hours and never manage to get i get close 1 time where i could get it but other then having guppy tails + left hand is there something else ?

Enter all curse rooms every floor, you'll probably find 1 of the items per game there, another one at a devil room (don't take damage on the entire floor to increase chances of appearing, and kill the beggars to evade angel ones), and the third one usually appears on another curse room / devil room or in a red chest around.

My record is transforming to guppy on the Cellar 2 lol..

chance for devil/angel room is only not getting hit during boss fight,

Devil room chances are affected by red heart damage. You get separate increases in your chances for both the whole floor and just the boss; soul hearts damage doesn't count against it. You also get increases in your chances for Devil Room if you blow up beggars, have the Book of Belial and/or Pentagram, and probably some other factors I'm forgetting. Angel Room has different factors altogether (though you aren't going to get Guppy items there): giving money/hearts to beggars, having any faith up item, and refusing deals with the devil all contribute to increasing your Angel Room chances.

No Devil, found Dead Cat on the Cellar 1 curse room, Guppy's head on the Cellar 2 curse room, and bought Guppy's Paw at the devil room.. combining that to an eternal heart on a super secret room, 2 red heart increases on the bosses (all that turned to blue hearts with the paw), quad shot in the first secret room and polyphemus on the second one.. one of my most OP runs ever. It was so easy it even got boring :(
