Question about "Turning down" Devil Rooms.
I know you can boost your chances of getting Angel rooms by turning down Devil rooms, but what exactly does that entail? Do you have to walk inside the Devil Room and leave without taking an item? And does taking an item from Krampus count as making a deal with the devil? Also does taking a devil room item from The Fallen count against your chances for an Angel Room?

I am pretty sure that getting lump of coal from krampus does not count as making a deal with a devil because u r not giving up any hearts

That is correct, getting a devil item doesn't count either unless you traded hearts for it. And refusiing entails that you enter the Devil Room and leave without picking anything up.

yeah but what about playing as the lost.
technically he doesn't spend a single heart on devil deals but I assume it counts as if he did.

This is from 2013, from before Rebirth or the Lost existed. I do not know if this mechanic applies the same in Rebirth as it did with the original game.
