Serial.txt issues

Hi everyone !
I searched around for a solution but I haven't found any...
My BoI ran well but after a few weeks after I finished the game I had huge lags every time I walked through a door (like 4-5sec for EVERY door...).
Today I tried again to play and the game just doesn't launch at all (with the message "A script in this movie is causing adobe flash player 10 to run slowly, if it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort this script?")

I checked for the latest flash version, I did every fix I could found but nothing (and I have a high end computer so I'm quiete sure it's not a hardware problem).

But I just noticed, when I completely erase the so.sol and the BoI steam folder (starting a new game with nothing unlocked) it works fine...
Looking into my back up, I see one major difference, the serial.txt is 3mb and when I try to replace the fresh one, the game is not starting. Replacing the so.sol with the old one doesn't change anything (no crash but it's still a fresh game as expected).

So if anyone could help me it would be much appreciated. Is there any way to fix this ?
Since it worked fine with everything unlocked at first I don't understand why now it freezes/doesn't launch...

Dont know...
Try right-click The Binding of Isaac in your library and go to prefferences. Under local files, choose "verify integrity of game cache". That should re-download any broken files.

This sounds like the exact same problem I had with Fable 3. Unfortunately, I never found a fix.

this , also defrag your files in the same location it can help to compress it

I had this with youtube where i had the same exact message, "slow blah blah blah unresponsive" It continued to say a plugin or something at the top of my browser (google chrome) so i just deleted what ever it was and now i have no issues. I have no idea how this would possibly work with BoI, but i guess its worth a shot.
