I cant seem to unlock the book of sin.

I have been kicking the deadly sins around all day and it just wont seem to unlock.
Does it have to be done in a single playthrough because i know i have kills all of them at least once. I swear ive beaten each of them 3 times today.

It doesn't have to be in one run; if you think you've beaten them all yet haven't gotten the achievement, you can go into your local Binding of Isaac files, delete FlashAchievements.exe, go into your Steam library, click Properties, go to the Local Files tab, and verify the integrity of the game cache. Steam should re-download FlashAchievements.exe, and you should unlock The Book of Sin upon starting The Binding of Isaac. If you don't unlock it upon starting up, then you may need to defeat one of the sins again - it can be any one - in order to get the achievement. I had the same problem with Dark Boy; I was able to get the other achievements, but I did not get Dark Boy, even though I went through the depths twice without taking damage. I had to go through the depths without taking damage again, however, in order to get the achievement. The achievements are rather buggy in general.

I counted all the achievements. It says there are 84 but when i counted i only got to 69.
Some of the achievements are neither in the completed section or the incomplete section.

Some of the Wrath of the Lamb ones are hidden. Even though you can't see them, you'll still unlock them if you meet the requirements.

one of the achievements im talking about is one i recently got in the game.
called i have sticky fingers. it seems to have just vanished.

What do you mean by that? Did you get the achievement in game but not on Steam, or did you get it on Steam yet it no longer shows up for some reason? If it's the former, then try what I said previously - you may need to defeat Gish again though. If it's the latter, then you can try the same thing, but I can't guarantee that it would work; I've never had that problem nor knew anyone who had it, so I can't say I know exactly how to deal with that. If it's neither, then I don't know how to help you, sorry to say :c

I got it in the game. It is not on the steam achievement list at all. Like it doesnt even exist.
But i know it does because i see it on global stats.

Ah. Then delete FlashAchievements.exe and do all that fun stuff. If you already did that, try to defeat Gish again. If you defeat Gish again but you still don't get the achievement, you're gonna have to redo the whole FlashAchievements.exe process again and defeat Gish again. If, somehow, you still don't have the achievement, then I don't know what should be the course of action as replacing the FlashAchievements.exe file is the process to fix this.

okay most of my achievement problems are resolved thanks to that. But the book of sin unfortunately still isnt unlocking even though i just beat envy. maybe ill have to beat them all again.

Odd. I don't know how the achievement works with the Wrath of the Lamb DLC (ie, if the super sins affect getting the achievement). If you beat all the regular sins again yet don't get the achievement, you may need to defeat all of the super sins. I hope that's not the case for you as finding all of the super sins is rather hard.

There are 7 Sins in isaac, you have to kill ALL of them for the book to be unlocked, i'll name the 7 in order from my favorite sin to my most hated sin, Gluttony, Lust, Wrath, Pride, Sloth, Envy and Greed(this guy shows up WAY to often in my runs). however, i don't know if the SUPER sins count as a Sin kill for the book as i got the book of sin after defeating wrath, who was the last sin i needed to kill.

Since i dont have wrath of the lamb super sins should not count. Envy: guy that splits apart done. Gluttony: fatty with the lazer beam done. Lust: crazy isaac looking chick that chases you done. wrath: bomberman ripoff done. Pride: guy who uses trollface done. Sloth: guy who spits up the silk worms and drops poisen bombs done. Greed: the nuisance that keeps me from buying stuff done. I have defeated each and every single one probably 20 times over by now.
And the book of sin is nowhere in sight.

then its probably a glitch, the game trolls like that sometimes, like if you happen to get dr fetus and mr mega in the same run, you shoot mega troll bombs instead of normal bombs

Well in order to get golden god im going to need to fix this problem. Im told that you can get it by getting all but one item if you have the lump of coal but i dont want this one secret to be something as easy to aquire as the book of sin. Is there any way to fix this glitch.
