I hate Eve sooooo much...

I'm trying to get my Complete achievement with Eve, and it's a real pain in the ass. I hate her so much, it takes forever to get to Mom because her damage is so low, and taking Devil Room deals is almost impossible because of her low HP. Any tips guys? I've only got a few more things to unlock until I 100% the game. I've just had a long sting of unlucky runs with her and it's driving me up the wall.

Actually, Eve is much easier to play as than Samson or even Blue Baby, at least for me. You will beat it for sure if you have finished the chest as these characters.
1) Eve has low hp, so you can pick up Dead Cat without any thoughts and become Guppy with a higher chance in a run.
2) Then, you can go for a risk and get yourself damaged to a half of a heart to get much more damage in the beginning of your run. Once you've done it, keep your health at that low level and try to get soul hearts only to not get your Damage reduced again.
3) What else..try and die, then try again to die once more) Just keep trying and you will beat it eventually, that's for sure. (Don't forget to have a rest, you should not be angry playing it, you can become one with ease though, remember that It is just a game that you're supposed to have fun with).

I always try to get her to 1/2 a red heart and then only pick up soul hearts to keep her as ♥♥♥♥♥ of babylon permanently. Items that I like are the IV bag from the blood donation machine, which will ensure you can always go back to 1/2 a red heart if you accidentally pick up one, and guppy's paw, which I use to get rid of all my heart containers and gain a lot of soul hearts. And then any items that help to gain soul hearts are good, too.
I'm never afraid to restart if I don't have a half decent setup going at the end of the first floor. Ideally I like to have half a red heart, at least one soul heart, and at least 5 cents so I'll hopefully get the arcade on the next floor and try to get the IV bag.

Thanks for the tips, luckily I started fresh this morning (before I saw the comments here) and had a great run with Technology 2. I was able to finally beat the Chest with Eve! I only have a few achievements left before I become Platinum God! I need to go ahead and try to beat Satan with her now. I didn't see any spelling mistakes in your comment, and I'm not so great with grammar so I wouldn't be able to tell you if you made any mistakes there. There's an extra ")" in your comment but I'm guessing you just forgot the "(" in front of it. Your English seems flawless to me.

Thanks for the help! I was able to finally beat the Chest with Eve after 2 days of dying over and over. One step closer to Platinum God...

BTW do you (or anyone reading this) know if the "Take No Damage" achievements mean any damamge or just red heart damage? I'm guessing it's no damage period but I can always dream. It seems like I already got the "Take No Damage in the Caves" but for some reason it says I haven't...

You know what sucks is I already GOT the No Damage in Caves achievement, but for some reason when I exited the game it somehow forgot about it. From what I hear this can happen from time to time. I tried to get that one again today and on the last boss I took one hit right before he died...I screamed out loud. Getting Platinum God in this game is no joke, you should be proud of yourself. It takes a lot of skill and dedication. I just hope I can get mine before Rebirth comes out, then I can start all over again. I can't wait! Thanks for the link BTW

In all honesty, eve,samson and adam(remix only) are my favorite characters to use in isaac due to their styles of play, eve is best when shes low on red hearts and if you find guppy's paw you can obtain a permanent ♥♥♥♥♥ of babylon state, Samson is best in rooms with multiple enemies or spawning enemies or bosses as max blood lust makes him stronger then judas, and adam has 2 different play styles right off the bat because of his item, "The Apple" which switchs him between 2 modes, tear speed, and damage, tear speed makes him faster then cain and gives a very high tear stat, but it makes him weaker then eve, Damage mode makes adam as slow as maggie and gives him the same tear stat as Samson, but he becomes stronger then JUDAS as a result.
