You used Best Friend spacebar item, which any blood laser attack will kill you instantly with if it hits Best Friend.

It's a known issue with Best Friend—one of the reasons why the item is considered bad so not many people take it.

The only reason I took it was becasue it was in Depths with no space bar item, so i thought 'f**k it, why not' Now I know why
