Undefined?

I was in the chest and there was an item in the secret room, but it looked like it was rapidly flipping through all he items in the secret room item pool, and when I picked it up the game said "undefined." Im not lying or anything, I'm just assuming this is a bug.

Probably is cause I think I saw an item like that useing cheat engeine just to screw around.

If you pick up every item in a specific item pool with i think spidermod it can spawn that item. I dont remember if it gives you every effect simultaneously or it gives you no benefit at all.

When the Secret Room pool is exhausted, there's a bug that will not refresh the pool, and will give you an "undefined" item. This "undefined" item cannot be rerolled, and will appear in other Secret Rooms, if they happen to have an item.

I've had it happen in the boss room before. Undefined does absolutely nothing. Picking it up does not make it go away in future rooms either. It happens regardless of spidermod.

It's a filler if theres no items left basically.

I had three appear after doing this combo:
Have Nun's Habit, D6 and D20... get gold chests in the secret room and reroll them infinitely.

Apparently, if you move back and forth between rooms, the undefined items may become actual items, I saw it to James Katzman on youtube... but if it happened in the secret room you'd need either infinite bombs or X-ray goggles to check if it happens for you.

Yes, it's a bug. If you pick it up and you've exhausted the entire item pool, the next time the game tries to generate an item from that pool, your game will crash.
