Only Touch Screen Working on Steam Deck?

Just got my Steam Deck and thought I'd try out some Isaac. For some reason, only the touch screen works in-game. I am using the recommended layout, have tried others, Proton experimental and all that. It just won't seem to work.

Any ideas I could try?

Likewise. The official layout looks to have all the inputs assigned but nothing other than touch screen is active.

This game doesn't have controller support like the second game has unless they added it for Steam deck.

For whatever reason the official layout uses gamepad mappings, which is weird because Flash Isaac doesn't support gamepads. Just pick any community layout and you should be fine.
Self plug - you can try out my config called "Rebirth like controls".
