Steam vs iOS - will you need to rebuy?

If one was to buy Dominion expansions on Steam, would you need to rebuy them on iOS if you wanted to play them on the iOS version when it becomes available ?

No. You only have to pay on one storefront, and you can then use those expansions on Steam, Android and iOS.

After buying expansions on one of the storefronts, you have to run the game once after buying it while connected to the internet, and they will be available for you on all devices. You just have to verify the same email address in-game to then be able to play your expansions on each of your devices.

Note that you have to occasionally reconnect to the internet every so often (once a week or thereabouts) when playing on a platform that you didn't buy the expansions on.

Which is why I want to buy DLC on ios. That's the platform I will always have with me and sometimes (while on a cruise or something) I won't have internet for a week or more. Perhaps that's not worth holding out for (I haven't cruised in years and we aren't likely to cruise longer than 7 days without some form of internet during the cruise). But I also definitely want to reward the devs for releasing the ios version. I'd love to be able to help beta test the ios version but I hear they are out of beta keys or something. Perhaps I'll buy a few expansions on steam while waiting.

I can confirm this works. Picked up the Intrigue expansion on android. Launched Steam app. Verified email. Re-launched steam app. Intrigue was there on Steam.
