If you force Unranked, this restriction relaxes.
If you have a specific scenario where you're not getting what you expect, post some screenshots and I can explain and/or see if there's a bug.
Re: 3+ player, adding more modes always bifurcates the matching pools which slows things down for everyone, so we wanted to make sure 2p is 'saturated' before adding another pool. It's pretty much there for unranked. Ranked is getting pretty close. Also it'd be nice to get replacement AI players for 3+ player in before as well.
I cannot upload any screenshots here, so I try to be precise:
settings: unranked, selected, chosed add-ons: base, intrigue, seaside, cornucopia. "Base" is greyish and can't deselected (I beleive that was possible weeks or months before). When I got a game, I always get only base cards. As this is not what I selected (and this specific selection isn't important), this usually leads to quit the game.
If I use the "2+, 3+..." option, I usually get the "wild spread" of a huge variety of add-ons, so it seems to me that 2+ is identical with "doesn't matter". Usually this is not what I want and leads to quit the game. It would be nice, if it would stated "max 2, max 3...", maybe both variants to choose. It's always good, when the player can decide by it's own how many different sets he plays. I
There is an Info-point in the settings with no effect. I guess, there are some infos hidden after clicking it (so I was not aware that there is a minimum add-ons for ranked games and did not expect this). If this (i) has no further meaning, from my point of view and should be removed.
I understand the plans with 3+ and hope the community will grow. In fact, the whole landing page with the sublevels seems - sorry - very clunky to me. Especially there seems a lot of redundant options - what's the Async enrollment in the matchmaking? Matchmaking seems to me the "quick online play" option, the async options seems to be the "lobby" (as usually I see there only complete or started games with off-line players), and complete don't understand the meaning off "private", as I would choose private games from the option --> my games --> new game --> choose my Dominion friends I want to play private with. Indeed I guess this section is huge for async games, as I would find there all games started from anywhere. Is the async-community that big? Whatever, I completle left the topic. Is there a better forum where I can post screen shots to show problems?
