In-Game Hints

FYI-- if you get stuck doing the main storyline, the game comes with a hint system.

You can access it when you're first launching Dum-Dum from Steam. While the virtual computer is booting up (showing a series of text lines), hold down your DELETE key for at least one second. This will bring you into the virtual BIOS.

From here, use your left/right keyboard keys to select "hints," then up/down keys and Enter to select "show hint." The game will identify where you are in the main storyline and give you a pretty specific nudge toward how to proceed. When you're done, you can tap ESC a few times to return to the game.

Note that unlike in real life, there is nothing in this virtual BIOS that will mess up your computer! It's just a way of offering help & customization options within the style of the game.
