Yes its a great game, starts off fun and cool. But if you actually try to complete it you will wish the worst for anyone who designed those levels. At later levels the game just forgets why it was fun and annoys the hell out of you with tedious levels which no longer require quick thinking and creative moves but micro-movement and robotic precision which may appeal to a really small percentage of hardcore players which have a different definition of fun.

On another note, game also suffers a bit from the sense of scale. Since everything is abstract and geometric, it sometimes tricks your senses in regards to the size and distance of objects making you misjudge your hook range.

Visually appealing to me of about 13 years ago, music isn't demanding (SynthWave should be enjoyable even if you crank it all the way down and have literally anything else going on, and this game hits that like nothing else)

I would say let me skip the already wafer thin story that is acknowledged by the Microsoft Clippy as basically being irrelevant but we have to accept a mascot being cute and (not even far enough to disregard spoiler tags) facing their likely inevitable betrayal.

{For any game devs, a tutorial character that is super interested in the player character somehow besting the big bad, and sending the player on a fetch quest, it's hideously predictable, having the cute character SDuDdEnLy Be ThE bAd GuY, it doesn't work in this day and age, I know this isn't a story driven game but there was a broken as ♥♥♥♥ DLC so they didn't just do HyberCook2)

No one plays this, and I'm saying this as someone who is usually a serviceable team player when I do multiplayer in the generic bang bang games - the point is, I shouldn't be ranking in the top 50 in my country, a nation who's primary hobbies are gaming, getting STDs, hooning hard corners and somehow getting flipped on a blind corner without that Mario Kart accelerate-break heel tap, and who could forget, getting high on methylated amphetamine - but a nation of approximately 5 million.

We'd have less road deaths if more L&P drinkers played this game.
I absolutely recommend this as a game for someone larping as being conscious during the initial Trump election to be a lamo on Twitter or Youtube now that all the good synthwave has been produced, or as a fantastic way to test the sobriety of someone that's not safe to drive at your shindig - at best. they'll realise they can't drive because they can't even cyberhook and they go to bed, and at worst, they'll keep trying to get you that under par time.

I rate this as a 10/10 stay cooked in cyberspace, and a 7.2/10 for "You can't drive like this I care about you so much bro I'll even break the [latest slang] code if you just stay here and play this motion sickness simulator so you go to bed", and I'd rank it an 8/10 for sober people who just keep missing some weird swing speedrun.
