its cute just needed more production and effort

Ok. So the original Off-Peak was a masterpiece.
When I found out about the Tales, I was so hyped, cause the original game only left me wishing for more. But as it goes with a lot of sequels... they are just not that great. And in this case... especially if you are coming from a place of admiring the first game... well... it's pretty much just not it. There's 0 obscurity, no mystery, nothing to unravel and moreover nothing's left to your imagination. This is just your regular walking sim, where you are surrounded by a bunch of avangard piece of art and um... yeah thats pretty much it. If this game was the original game in the series, no one would have even noticed it. it does have the same ... I mean, it would be too much to say it has the same vibe as the original, but um... there's a little sniff of it somewhere in the air while you are playing it lol.
So um... I dunno... The dev dfntly lost what they have found while creating the first game.
Oh well...

Little objective criticism:
- The story line is boring af. Not engaging, not captivating, very blend and uninteresting. There's no thrill to it, and most dialogues feel like boring ass fillers.
- Worldwise it's a .... It has something from the original game. Obviously. It has some pretty artworks hang around. It um... Is dfntly a unique setting, BUT. And this is an important one. It's trying to be something it is not. Trying to convey some story by simply laying it out for you, not leaving anything for interpretation, elimintating all the charm and um... the distant feel of the world that is presented in the game.
- music wise its good, but having all the voicelines have a certain "noise" to them is a poor choice. Cause those sound queues do not sound like a voice, they clearly are just noises made with a musical instrument, which makes it overlap the actual score that is incessantly playing in the background.

So yeah... I've trying to give this game as fair chance as possible but i don't think i'll be finishing it, cause every time i come back to it I'm unfortunately met with another filler of a character with a bunch of boring, unrelating, unmoving lines.

I really enjoyed Norwood suite but this one is just kinda, ehhh
Maybe I missed something and need to play through it again but as is it just kinda falls flat

What role will you play in a city's fate? This question suggests that it is up to you, but it is not. There are not choices in this art project. Only exploration.
Warning for potential buyers - this is not a game. It is a walking and reading simulator with a lot of promise, interesting world and nice atmosphere. But it is not a game. Nice experience nevertheless.
Is it so hard to make this more like a game? Devs were pretty close.
This should be free. Only all volumes together with a closure should be sold and for this low price.. or make it a game.

This games just retarded i cant think of a better way to describe it, what a waste of my time.

This game is just... weird. I would recommend it if not for the tedious pizza-making mini-game.
