Thoughts on the Latest Update

I feel like this update was rushed out the door to take advantage of the steam summer sale.

I recently picked this game up again on this account that I made for spicy things, but I played through all the original content on another account. After getting through all the new content I feel like this most recent update was rushed out the door.

The Good

The Mermaid is a great addition and it's cool to see the game continue getting updates.

It's nice being able to choose different massages and there's more variety now.

It's interesting seeing that the devs want to add more to the plot with seemingly a day/night and calendar system. It seems like we'll be able to go to the girls to massage them and also have a few side activities

As a fan of summer and winter memories I like the idea of slowly getting closer to the girls in different ways and having some mini games to make money or otherwise contribute to the main mini game while you're recharging or resting after moving around a lot.

The Bad

There's too much bloat

Despite not being ready the day/night system has been partially implemented causing extra animations and waiting time to play out without adding anything to the gameplay.

The furniture icon on the PC has been taunting me since the game came out and they also seem to be thinking about adding in a system for the oils, in game time, and a per body part sensitivity system. And all these systems are partially implemented in the public version without contributing anything to the actual gameplay loop.

Having all the different types of massages makes the full body massage a waste of time as it takes so much longer than the others despite it being the original massage with the most effort put into it.

Unskippable and Repetitive Aspects

The 1st "deep" massage where you finger and grope becomes repetitive and annoying as it constantly is the same thing. Even more so with Ava as often the grab registration is pretty bad on her wings.

Also the "perfect" animation when finishing up a massage is unnecessary, proven by the fact that it used to not be in the game. Now instead of keeping the camera on the girl when she orgasms after a massage it cuts to the Orc doing a generic animation and then back to the girl and then it plays the animations

A list of unskippable animations
1. The change between times of day
2. The animation of them leaving after the massage
3. The animation of the Orc filling the room with water
4. The animations of the Orc working out
5. The animation of the girl's getting ready to have sex

(I've seen the cuffing animation five times we can skip the 6th thanks)

Plain Broken or Wrong

The hot and cold minigame for Ava and Emma (Bird and Fish) are quite annoying with bad grab detection on their wings and tail. Especially given the larger surface area the two have

Panting noises continue to play while the results screen show and a girl is painting

Non localized names in the results UI

The dialogue they say while leaving is auto skipped for Thalia and Ava but not for Valerie and Emma?

You can frequently see the girls either standing or stuck in the last frame of their leaving animation when transitioning to the next time period.

Thalia's legs will sometimes become jello (curved horizontally and all wavy) and can only be fixed by restarting the game.

When unlocking a new sex position the game will default to the original instead of using the new one so the player can see what's new.

Not saving settings between sessions with a girl. For example the clothes shown, the orc's transparency settings, where the camera was placed last time, etc.

Gallery mode has the day/night transition as well. Pointless and a time waster, just give us a toggle for which lighting we want.

The regular customers mini game is still not explained well in terms of which buttons to press and how it works.

When using Pose 2 with Ava there's no POV setting or way to move the camera outside to look in from the window. Given she's pressed up against it, I'd be interested in seeing what people see from outside.

Overall Thoughts

I think this game is pretty good and it's great to see the updates and that Dragon girl will hopefully be available before the end of the year.

But the current public build feels like it has a lot of easy to find mistakes and only partially implemented features that slow down the pace of the game.

I'm worried that the devs are adding things or changing how mechanics work without considering the main game loop and how it will affect things.

I'll be honest this is my first time posting on a discussion board (on either account) and I might be overthinking this. But interested to hear if you guys agree or not.

My bad, I didn't read the year on the dev log stuff when I saw the July dates lol.
But yeah, I think that makes it almost worse since that means that a lot of these issues have been in the game for a while.

Speaking of issues with the game, it's me or there's a scroll missing in the "website" where you buy stuff for the Orc? I can see scrolls 2 & 3 (don't have the title in mind) but not the first one.

It's a bug or an intentional thing of the developpers?
