I don't even play this game (I saw it in recomended) but adding LGBTQIA+ OPTIONS in the game is not FORCING anyone to do anything. If you don't want to see that stuff then don't use those options. I see way too many people getting upset over an option & more customizing added to games. As a Bisexual male, there's little to no options available out there and most people do not have the skills/money to just make a video game. Almost every single time someone asks for some LGBTQIA+ options to be added to a developing game, it's met with hostility.
People shouldnt demand for content to be made for their own satisfaction. A suggestion is fine however.
But taking a look at the roadmap, its pretty clear the Developers does not intend for the game to have such content any time soon. Not only do they have many future plans they are working on, but even accepting a suggestion to add LGBT+ content would take too long to develop considering, how much time and resources that were spent on current ingame content as well as future content, having every character be able to change gender and then having to re animate every single story and sex Scene with each character in every combination. Its simply going to take too long to create in a game of this type.
I personally dont care if an option will be there, I wont be one to use it.
But I personally like to consider things on a gamedeveloping standpoint - If it wasnt a plan to have LGBT+ content in a game to begin with, it likely never will. - If its not part of what the devs invisioned, we shouldnt change it unless its constructive feedback about game mechanics etc.
Take into consideration how much time the devs already work on the game, and then consider how much work your demand of LGBT+ content will require.
My guess is that while the suggestion in the option may seem small- with the way the core game is build, its actually a larger Process than you imagine. It will likely take several years to add such an option to the game, and thats after the roadmap is complete.
This implies demand. Kinda rude if you expect an indie developer to devote a considerable amount of time to literally doubling the characters and adding additional animations.
Besides, the game is in early access. Maybe at least let them finish this game first. All in all, I've never been a fan of people demanding specific types of games to be made. Learn to code then DIY.
Demanding that other people bend over for you is a terrible thing to do.
