How the heck do you "slow holster"?

Seriously. I can't hold tab to holster the gun slowly at all, the instant I press the button, it immediately holsters. The heck?

The animation is the same for a slow or fast holster. I think you just hold it until the animation is finished.

Yepp. Just hold the button down until the animation completes and then a tad bit more just to be sure.

Yeah I figured it out, just wish there was some more feedback. Like if, y'know, slow holstering was actually a slower animation.

hold tab, also the gun does holster more slowly if you do so

insane how nobody replied to this thread for 5 years but right when I was actually playing receiver again recently, two people respond lol

Also no, it really doesn't go that much more slowly.

I really love Steam's background recording system. It makes taking clips so much easier.
Anyways, here is a quick clip I took comparing the differences in the draw speed, and there's a pretty noticeable change in how quick the protagonist pulls out the gun.

EDIT: I also noticed how bouncy the slow holster is comparatively. Never noticed that before.
