Is there mod support. If there is, are there any mods released yet?
Is it a possibility that a workshop would be made?

Wolfire have said they would like to make a workshop feature at some point. They didnt't say when specifically.

Mods can be made for Receiver 2 even without official modding support, because Unity games can be decompiled and edited. There's only a few mods so far. Here's the one I know about:

You can also open the world generator configs and easily change the balance/progression of the game without any special tools.

I've made myself a custom mode by halving the frequency of tapes and ammo, eliminating ammo drops from destroyed turrets.
