Container Stuck inside asteroid

I was heading from Prescott station on a lost cargo mission near Noah Damaris Starport when I stopped for a Distress Call. Once the outlaw clean up was finished there was a container showing inside of an asteroid on my scanner. I flew all around the asteroid & the container was definitely inside the asteroid. I found a "hidden" entrance behind a large rock.
This took me into a large open dead end space inside the asteroid but not to the container. I suspect that the container was supposed to be here.

I had this happen a couple times. Last time doing the Cave clearing mission for G&B. Shot a scout close to the ground and a gun slid down into the ground just outside the cave and was unrecoverable. Went inside to see if it had slid through to the interior but it was deep in the ground.
