Saves wrote by MacOS can't be recognized by game on Windows

I started a game on windows several days ago, and I loaded the save on macos. After two hours of playing, I saved the game and opened that on windows (the save file surely exists in the saves folder on windows). However, the game didn't recognize the save file. The list didn't even contain that save.
What should I do? Should I upload the save here? Thanks in advance.
BTW: The game version on macos is 1.2.39657, while it's 1.2.39656 on windows.

It should be possible to move saves - did you copy both save files? There are always two files needed in order for a save game to show up in game. The "real" save file and a file of same name but with _PREVIEW_ in it.

For example:
ES2__AUTO_2024.05.06-12.54.03.sav
ES2__PREVIEW__AUTO_2024.05.06-12.54.03.sav

And did you put them in the correct folder?

C:\Users\{YOUR_USERNAME}\AppData\Local\ES2\Saved\SaveGames

Yeah, both of the two files are in the right folder, and their time are the same. I didn't copy manually but steam's cloud synced them automatically.

Currently due to version numbers (The Mac version has a different number to the PC version) the game saves aren't compatible, but we'll rectify this in a future patch.
