Unable to scan Athorian Worm for Completionist quest
I made progress enough to only have the worm scan left - the scanner would reach 100% but it wouldn't register the scan.

Tried jumping out and back, logging out, restarting, etc but it would still not register the scan. Came back to the quest after a few more levels and it will not scan at all. My ship has been as close as possible and I still have the objective and quest incomplete.

Was the worm alive or dead?

You can kill the worm and scan the remains.

Ok - I was trying to scan live ones. Killing it allowed me to finish the scan thanks!
