Custom Music

Would be nice to be able to replace the repetitive base game music with some of our choosing. The current tracks get boring after a while. Personally I find New Retrowave/Synthwave and AOR rock/metal goes great with space themed games.

THIS. THIS. THIS! I'm always loading up my Freelancer soundtrack list whenever I play. Game is awesome but the vanilla music is a disappointment.

Well no crap Matlock. I was specifically suggesting an in game option so the game had control, like lowering the music if dialogue is being spoken etc.

Is it possible with UE4 to control external sound sources?

What are your favourite tracks for ES2? I think Marvel83 works great in some moments.

No - the music changes with game situation (combat/peaceful) and you want the music to reflect that - static spotify wont reflect this. Many games like Rebel Galaxy allowed to create custom music. some of the music in this game is abhorrent

Like which tracks, I can't think of any? I think the soundtrack it has is fine and fitting for the genre.
