Break open the hardened ore patch?
Anyone else having trouble with this? No matter what, the reflective surface of the reflective panel always faces the ship making any and all challenges requiring the reflective panels impossible to complete. I even tried releasing the panel, flying around to t he other side to grab it again and the panel flips around to once again have the reflective side facing the ship.

hmmm.... this could be a Bug. The Ship usually grabs the Mirror so that, when unfolded, the reflected side is always directing away from the Ship. Let me hop in and search one of the Mirrors real quick.

Sooo... the Panel is reflective on both sides. But it will only unfold in one Direction. So its not a Bug. The Ship has the Panel grabbed, this is Photo-mode:

If you unfold the Mirror and go into Photo-mode, as soon you leave the Photo-mode, the Mirror is folded and you cant interact with it anymore. Its stuck in Front of the Ship like permanently grabbed. Had to reload an earlier save to get rid of it.
I guess holding the F-Key for keeping it unfolded and using Z-Key for Photo-Mode at the same time, will lock the F-Key. This doesnt happen if you unfold with F and use Esc to pick Photo-Mode in Menu.

I think it was a weird glitch. Rebooted my pc and went back to that mission, now the beam is reflecting properly. Before, if you release hold of the mirror, the beam would push it out of the way with crazy physics.

That the Laser pushes the Mirror out of the Way, if you dont hold it, is normal.
