Why won't this station accept my cargo?

I've got a side-quest that I can't complete. It's a fetch quest that requires me to take a cargo of Seeds to Ceto Research Station. The Seeds are in my ship's cargo, but no matter how many times I land at the station, the quest won't complete.

You sure its the correct item, Location and amount?

Is the research station showing in green indicating you have a job to turn in there? If so then the only reason I can think of would be that you don't have enough of the item in your cargo hold as Notoshy said.

If it is a *fetch* quest, then you need to take the cargo from a fixed place, just buying the stuff will not work.

I checked my cargo. Turns out that I was mistaken; I didn't have ANY Seeds in my cargo. The quest's turned in now.
