Fast forward move in map should be a toggle and not keep pressing it

Using fast forward in map should be a toggle so you can activate it and not being forced to keep pressing it to make it work.
Also I bet that many suggested this too but you should be able to set a mark to somewhere and ship should got automatically there (jump to supra light if available automatically and move forward and to the destination automatically), at least if the destination is in same system

You do know that when travelling in system, you set a destination, lock to it and you will go there automatically ?

Yes I know but fast forward option (the one you get as a reward from system challenge) only works if you keep pressing it

I agree with not having to HOLD the key or button down. My Index Finger is going numb.
However, if you do away with it the traveling aspect then we will miss all the other encounters that pop up.

I'll take that risk :D if I'm fast forwarding I'm not looking for a distraction anyway ... even if it wasn't something as repetitive as the random encounters.

That why I suggest it as a toggle similar to when activation auto pilot.
If you hit fast forward toggle it is active, if you hiy again it disables and you can do any event you saw

Still very worth getting it. Its simply the functionality of it wasnt thought out.

Honestly, the fast forward is so fast, it's not a big deal to have to hold it down. You typically arrive at your destination in a few seconds.
