Commodities selling help

So I’ve been snatching up a bunch of cybernetic implants and solar panels in Ceto since they’re cheap there thinking I’d turn a bug profit once I progress the story and get out of this region. Now I think I might not see a region where they are high demand for quite some time.

Does anybody know what region these are high demand, or if there is better stuff to purchase right now for when I make it to union? Or maybe is there a guide somewhere that specifies which regions commodities sell for different amounts in?

You're in luck. I recently went around and tried to find the best places to sell everything.

Cybernetic implants sell high in Zharkov, and solar panels sell high in Zharkov and Khione.

In general, though, I wouldn't put too much effort into optimizing trading unless you're really into that stuff. Lugging around dozens of stacks of commodities hoping to find the best price at random will just take up space in your ship/storage. If you know you're heading to a different system, just buy whatever is at the cheapest price possible and sell it in the next area as it is very likely to be at least somewhat profitable. That way you make a quick credit without keeping your inventory filled with junk.

Thanks, that’s very helpful. I’ll hold off for now, I just wanted some good commodities in storage to do a big sell for a ship upgrade when it’s available. I’ll hold off on buying more for now
