Tier 4 unlock

What is a good way to get the Tier 4 ships unlocked? I am working on upgrade 5 with Tareen and need Tachyon Emitters and Resistor Arrays. I have finished the game and have not seen one of them drop yet. Is the best option just to hop from location to location mining the resources to get them crafted or am I overlooking something a bit easier? Pure Baromite is pinch point for me right now.

Mine the resources and craft them yourself. Craft a beam laser that comes with increased rare drop chance, and then add on a mining catalyst to it to increase the amount of resources gained and refund energy when mining. Also equip a Peruser sensor for increased resource scanning distance.

Remember that you can also see where resources are more commonly found and in what quantities on the map with a perk from HIVE.

Only if you decide not to switch over. I had a T3+ Interceptor and it only cost me 450k or so by selling the old to a T4.

Where do you get the blueprint to craft the mining catalyst?
