Little white triangle symbols on map?

If I finish a location on the map the symbol gets grey and marked as completed. But sometimes there is still a white triangle in the bottom corner of the symbol - what does this mean? Does anyone know?

Arrows within location diamonds indicate that they are either over-leveled (arrow on top) or under-leveled (arrow on bottom) for you. Over-leveled locations also take on a purple hue.

UX and discoverability are quite bad. Nephtys currently has a white circle arrow hanging off of its map icon - no clue what that is. Center on player is grouped with the secondary (!?) zoom controls and not mentioned on the actions bar at the bottom. No indicator of where you are currently, unless you hover over the icon of where you are. With very little effort, this could all be more helpful...all I'm saying. They give us information, but its rarely helpful or explained.

Oh, yeah, and the best one is that the shop icon on the map is a currency icon, but when you hover over the location, the shop is indicated by a hangar icon. Lovely consistency. Way to train the player!

The Nephtys icon should be a 'shipyard'. You can locate yourself on the map with the 'Recenter' button. Your ship will also show on the current pop-out as a green icon. As for shops using the same Hanger icon, the pop-out should still have the currency symbol when you look at it.
