I actually started with YouTube but couldn't find a video with the location challenge. I'll have to table this one as incomplete for the moment and play around in the rest of Drake. It had been a while since I checked in to the game and the new (to me) content is interesting, even if this situation is very frustrating.
I'm not clear on what this would accomplish, once I go into camera mode the HUD icons seem to disappear which defeats the purpose for me. I assume I am pressing Z and F10 together correct?
I applaud the developers for the hand crafted nature of the areas , but the puzzles often rely on visual clues for the first or a critical step that someone with my limitations wil necessarily miss.
Bottom line - Love the gameplay occasionally really really hate the puzzles
Also not a big fan of the water worlds. Thalassophobia is real ♥♥♥♥, man. At least there's only a few...
Speaking of, have you all noticed, that if you go deep, eyes start appearing in the dark...
- consumables to probe structures.
- highlight icon by pressing F, and filter out any other icons that are unrelated. (So, if you highlight an energy sphere dispenser, only energy sphere sockets would appear as icon in the HUD. Pressing F again on the highlighted icon would reset the hud display)
So, very much this. I would love to both filter the extraneous icons and also probe structures or at the very least choose a non-reddish highlight color. And while we are asking for things, I wouldn't say no to deployable map marker to help find your way back to some of the trickier bits
Understood, but the yellow and red beams look the same to me with all of the red in the environment. I've played enough of this game to get a feel for how the developers like to hide things. I know mostly what I should be looking for, the trick becomes actually seeing it in the environment. That's one of the reasons I'm looking forward to color blind accessibility settings in the final release which the developers have mentioned elsewhere. Hopefully, it will be enough to ease some of my current frustrations
That one was already announced by Eric on a live stream. Map markers are coming.
Excellent! I apparently missed that live stream. That's something I'll definitely celebrate
