Corrosive mines is also viable, yes!
Because each equipped mine has it's own energy pool and there is no swap delay, you can quickly press the secondary weapon swap and spawn 3 mines at once and the cool down down is for each mine. I emptied all 3 energy pools at once and the bosses go down pretty quickly too. Not sure if this is an intentional design choice and maybe a dev could have a look at it as the damage output is absurd. Mines also don't do friendly damage like the flak does so you can deploy at point blank range and they will blow up within a couple of seconds as they have a short arming time.
As they should have a look at all light ships. I've tried every ship and only with gunship and bomber i've finished 2000 rift. While it's still can be almost instakilled. Other ship have no chances at all.

Do you have that gunship build? Want to have a go with it.
corrosive Mines: (they seek out nearby targets automatically so I just spam in all directions)

Passives: (not really optimal but the secondary reduced power is all I really need)

devices: (all defensive support)

Sentinel with Sirens does fine but I agree on the light ships.
Its seems like complete chance to win with them. I maybe need to Get Good.
Scout is pretty easy in how to "survive", you just stay as far away from anyone as possible and the moment someone gets too close you flee.
Stinger relies heavily on luck, tons of boosting, and spamming your devices OR spamming devices while cloaked (the most boring playstyle in the game).
I recently gave the bomber a try to see what all the hubbub was about and I have no idea how to survive. Sure, I can do insanely ridiculous amounts of aoe damage, but I get shot to ♥♥♥♥ in no time at all.
So, my question, how do you survive as a bomber? Do you play super timid? Are you only boosting to dodge certain attacks, if so, which ones (i know about snipers and orbs, but seem to get shredded by other stuff too), etc.?
Generally I found that missiles were good for defensive builds which is OK for early on and then mines for offensive builds. The legendaries really boost tactical options making offensive builds more viable.

Im asking because i had the initial only not long ago and the Game screwed me XD First round wasnt that bad with additional defense to Enemies that are close to you, but the second Round was mean.... i couldnt target Enemies anymore. It disabled 40% of my Weapon Layout XD
After you defeat each "level", you have to leave to the next "level", and you usually have 2 or 3 options of how to leave with different modifiers and "loot quality % +" bonuses for the different paths.
