And i read in the discussion that some people tried using Devotion...
Its my opinion that Devotion is still a end-game build for scout, ive gotten where you can two shot nearly any enemy near 1000 lunacy, but after that we get more problems.
As far as DPS is concerned though, starforged rail guns may be a better more consistent pick.
I've tried Devotion and it is good but i think in higher lunacy (1200+) two starforged rail gun are better. You can use Legendary catalyst to up DPS of devotion but i didn't try that.I assume same catalyst can be used in Last rite.

==Update on Last Rite
Its got 3 things going for it,
1. Long range
2. Very short ramp up
3. As it turns out, you can wait in-between shots for energy to replenish, giving it near infinite firing if you time it correctly (still a pain though).
The only thing that really helps it is the range, thats where the damage is gonna be + vigilante + utlimate gives it some promise.
Its still disappointing though, you have to tap-out 8 enemies before you get the max damage, and even then, my Devotion build just does way way more damage per second.
Last Rites is still so slow at ttk that i cant even recommend Ride the Lightning.

Your devotion looks very pretty, i need to get sovereign.
For a Devotion build, you really need range and total damage mulitpliers (+20% coil gun. 10% here, 10% there)... i saw a 'standing still gives 20% more damage', and id like to get that.
Oh and near perfect consistent aim.
I really dont understand how two starforged rail gun are better than devotion, i know one of them has swift so its a short ramp up, but the dps as far as i can tell, is either close or still lower than Devotion.
Unless you throw away cloak and run Opulence sets.. *shudders
Both of my railgun are swift+kinetic.
I also have this

And +20% on railgun on Ancient (everyone in rift)
I see your Last Rite is not Radiant Legendary....so there is even more powerful version...interesting.
Developers:
Maybe consider either reducing max charge from 8 > 6, and maybe give the base damage values a 10% increase or so, or give the top end 20-30% more damage. It doesnt feel much stronger maxing out the stack, and ive been grinding rifts for like the past 2 hours using it.... just my opinion ofc.
And couple of "Rituals" missiles.
I usually go for level 3 Incursion since i usually get Radiant Reliquary there.
Speaking of ult, i really am unsure the dps difference even using ult with Devotion.
Running Devotion, using ult was a waste since you dont get more damage and you are out of ult energy. Nowadays im unsure if the crit chance + crit damage make it more worth it.
You can quite literally 4 shot some bosses with Devotion at around 600 depending on the boss.
Last Rites-Legendary radiant.
Here are the value if you don't have any active set on you and with catalyst

And here it is with 2 active set and catalyst

I don't know...
Maybe dev could put higher range on it...or higher damage. And why i'm getting Ritual rockets the most from rifts?

Lunacy 2000 Scout, no reliquary
Some bad aiming at the end and little luck.
But it is possible. I've managed to fight boss in 8 different runs with same setup and win 3 times.
Win was against Boss with
-Evasive Drift (last one),
-Stasis Snare
-Quantum Mend.
I've lost against
-Phase Barrier (2 times)
,-Apocalypse (2 times)
-also Evasive drift (before the last one)
The key stuff are:
Wrath of the Fallen cargo unit,
Swift Executioner (Yeah, the Vigilante rail gun.),
Rapid Shredder (Commander gauss cannon. It really shreds but only when the target is bigger than the reticle. And I mean it shreds even better than the legendary variant.),
Symphony of Destruction perk.
None of them are starforged or prototype. And 22% crit chance is all I can muster.
I just pick any hole except for the one that hides enemy name since I absolutely want to ID the teleporter drones and very high hp light units like elite anything. I just focus my Executioner on those, have them take all their friends with them, and then have the Wrath of the Fallen do its thing bringing them back to take a whole lotta heat off me.
For the Phase Barrier boss, just keep killing adds until they no longer warp in. Play peekaboo using asteroids until you can spot a safe zone in that barrier, usually right next to the booster or the wings, glue yourself there, and then whip out the shredder.
Either way, Scout op.
I took a different approach (didn't have a chance to tested on lunacy 2000)
Begins at 6:17

You don't have Starforged or prototype primary weapons ..and you still managed to beat lunacy 2000 in Scout. That would be interesting video to watch.
Here's the video just in case:
Boss hammering at 15:00 and gears at the end.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=squBP6FQZ9Y
Some of my gears have been upgraded now, but they're still very far from being optimized. But, eh, they absolutely get the job done so I'm happy anyways.
I tried once with clearing all other ships until they stop warp in. But the boss (phase barrier) was a ship which had 3 drones around him. And if you destroy them the new appeared from boss. So i just sneak under the shield, launch a missile but didn't escape on time.
I suppose it's a question of damage vs time on target, to determine which yields higher dps.
The devotion unquestionably has ridiculous damage, especially with scout at ~5km. However, they do not have the insane aim-assist that rails have. At 5km you basically have to be dead center to hit with the devotion, with a rail gun you just kinda have to be pointing in the right direction, even at 9km out.
Swift Executioner is still kinda the MVP, not because it has good damage or anything, but simply because of its unique passive. I'll usually use it until something comes into range of my devotion. Honorable mentions for MVP: Wrath cargo and Symphony perk.
