Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
Hello everyone, so I got the early access to EVERSPACE 2 and tried playing it last night and this morning however, I cannot get the joystick to work. There is a option for a joystick however the only way to play the game is with the Keyboard and mouse which I hate. The Logitech Extreme 3D Pro works on everything in my library but this game, thoughts? Designers, if you gave early access to this game, perhaps you should make it know of the input issues, just saying.

AHHHH, never mind, figured it out, there are no joystick profiles in the game, I had to remap my entire joystick. After an hour of re-maping and I'm good.

There are joystick profiles in the game. They include the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
See Settings>Input>Customize Controls>Select Preset (at the top).

But maybe you already found the perfect key mapping yourself.

Are the EA profiles the same as the ones in the demo? Because the logitech extreme 3d pro profile is awful in the demo. Just wondering how much key mapping I'm going to have to do. Is there any way to share profiles? Not sure I want to fight with the controller settings in order to play the game.

Iirc, the Demo and EA profiles are the same. For the best experience with HOSAS/HOTAS in any game, it is recommended to set up the binds yourself. Preferences tend to vary quite strongly with stick controls. :)

You can find you input binds in "C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\ES2\Saved\Config\WinGDK", this can be shared with anyone that has the same setup.

True true. Thanks for your response I'll give it a try with the demo.

I am having the same issue but I do see the joystick profiles but none of them work, when I click on the one that I want for the Logitech extreme 3D pro and then apply the settings, nothing happens other than it deletes all of the settings for the X3D pro in the "others" category and I don't see any fix online for it and my controller doesnt have any issues with it either

Just sayin' like -works fine with my old Force 3D Pro. Shame there ain't no FF in-game, and probably never will be. :-(

My guess would be that for whatever reason your Logitech Extreme is named differently on your system than we expect. The presets expect a certain name. We do have a debugging thread here and if you follow the steps there we might find out if my hunch was right or not and maybe offer a workaround or a fix in the future: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1128920/discussions/6/3123786356701586312/
