The starting ship should be around 12k.
Doing high risk areas unlocked by an item (not sure how its called something like Ceto location info?). There you'll find lots of enemies and a boss which usually drop decent loot you can then sell.
Kill carriers on Nephtys planes, sell loot, profit ;)
Are those randomly generated missions or are those having a limit? Just being curious here.
randomly generated though you can only have 5? at a time
you may have to travel some before they respawn but they will (there are more job boards in the union system so when one dried up I just went to another until the first refreshed)
you also can do the dynamically generated locations you see while traveling for random credit drops.
Yes don't expect the same kind of "this will take 15 minutes to explore" location as the set map locations basically those sectors are for a random fight with a random set of enemies. And be read to jump right out if it drops you in the middle of 6 enemies...which it might do.
Eventually I expect them to become something better but yes right now they are just endless content.
At this point I wouldn't be surprised if the developers are Russians. On ALL Russian games you're given one cent per hour and then expect you to endlessly farm to get 50,000 credits. HTA was exactly the same, the only difference was that I was able to mod it and make it better. Everspace 2 can't be modded, so no point for me to continue playing it or even buying it! Yes, I'm always playing the game "free" and if I like it, then I buy it. Well, I don't like this game, so I'm not buying it. Hopefully that will tell something the braindead developers.
... Mining Tools are high demand in ceto And cheep ish in Union....
I ATM after 128ish hours iam 1/3 of the way to the T2 ship just by killing Selling And Trading...
Yes fat loot from high value spots but they can be tricky
It is how they designed the game first time you see any upgrade you're unlikely to be able to afford it. It's a carrot on a stick that pushes you to get more money :)
