The game only has stereo audio.
it's not a huge deal, but it does seem odd as it's pretty standard in most games.. guess they had to cut some corners.. it is an indie game after all, i guess..
I appreciate the prompt dev response and hope you take this feedback for the future! Loving the game so far regardless of this omission, but it definitely would be elevated with surround sound for the best situational awareness and level of immersion possible.
Just imagine the possibilitys in here with all the Metal groaning and creaking, and all the other stuff that would add a great Sound to this ....sadly mostly dead rock scenario, when it would suddenly break into pieces,...etc...
But someone decided to give the Music a bigger meaning, which flattens it even more.
But yeah, the feedback still stands that the audio mix would be even better if the game was designed supported it natively.
If you really ask what that means, here is an explanation:
********************************************************
used to refer to the immediate usability or functionality of a newly purchased product, typically an electronic device or a piece of software.
"most laptops come with wireless capability out of the box"
********************************************************
And btw, it was a question.
Better? ;P
And about the game itself. Is the stereo audio some form of binaural 3d sound at least? That would be especially useful for headphone users.
That's probably sonething one of the devs knows best.
