Blakemore wrath - strategy ?
Hi guys,
I am struggling a bit with Blakemore's wrath mission ...
What it the right "strategy" to apply ?
just focus on the turrets's energy (spheres) ?
fight all around ? (killing enemies or apply the "virus" to take them down) ?
mainly focus on incoming torpedos ?
Focus on Blakemore's main ship ?

for me it is not clear, as I don't really understand either what my other allies are doing themselves...
Is there a specific strategy to apply ? or just randomly fight a bit everywhere ?

The most important thing is to power the turrets with energy spheres. The turrets are the only thing that can damage Blakemore's ship, so no amount of shooting down enemy fighters or applying the virus will do anything if the turrets are offline. Your allies will be fine on their own. Just take a quick break to shoot down the torpedos every time they launch. The anti-missile device can be useful here.

The challenge plays like this:
- turrets are the only thing that can damage Blackemore's ship. It's not your main priority, but you need to keep them active to damage it. If you ignore the turrets, the challenge doesn't end.
- torpedoes are the real danger. They can damage your base and - game over. Keep an eye on that. Equip flak, and missile defense, or just flak if you are good with it. You see torpedoes, or your buddies warning about them, GO! They always follow an upward arc from Blackemore's ship to the base. Always the same average trajectory, and they go in that arc line. They are also slow, so you can blow them up easily. Just don't get too close to them.
- fighting enemies will alleviate pressure, and makes it easier for you to do the other things. Yet, it's the least priority. You can even pop a cloak consumable, and go recharge a turret in stealth.

So, I would say your priorities are:
1- torpedoes! Gotta blow them all before they reach your base. ASAP.
2- turrets. If you want to finish this soon, recharge those turrets. They slowly chip at Blackemore's shields, armor and hull.
3- enemy fighters. If your turrets are recharged, and there are no torpedoes inbound, just kill some pricks.

Thanks guys for your advices !
Will try that !
I think all you mentioned is important. I was heavily under fire, shields down most of the time. Thats the mission^^
I say, load the turrets first, on your way between loading and reloading you fight them back, then miningmissles, and the rest comes by itself, repeatingly..

I had a heck of a time with this mission using the gunship. I switched to the bomber and it was easy.

You might also want to plaster the area with sticky turrets. They might not help much but at least distract fire from your ship.

Also don't mess too much with the enemy fighters - just strip their shields, then use the virus to disable them. Much faster! Flak is the go-to weapon here, especially for the torpedoes.

First priority is the torpedoes. Drop anything you're doing and deal with them first.
Flak cannon is the easy way to intercept them.
When the carriers shields go down, it launches a ton of them, so be ready.

When there are no torpedoes, power the turrets. You can see the turrets deactivating few seconds before they appear unpowered in your HUD, so that allows you to get to them faster.

If both of those are good, then you can fight the ships. But there's really no point, there's infinite amount of them, and they don't drop loot.

Place as much Sticky Turrets as possible near the active Combat Zone. Your Companions and the Turrets will deal with Enemy Fighters.
There is a Set, that allows to place an increased amount of sticky Turrets.

Use AoE Weaponry to destroy the Torpedos.
If there are no Torpedos, take care of the large Turrets and recharge them. If you have Boost, Teleport or another Option to move faster, it can also help.
Only if you have time to spare after taking care of the Torpedos and recharging, support your Companions.
