Eleks ship equalizer

In the german version you need the "equalizer" to get the second upgrade for elek. I think this means the Coil Gun. So i built a blue coilgun but how do i give it to him? Its not possible to add it in the upgrades like all other things

If you modify the gun you might have a catalyst called equalizer, don't know if it drops but that would be one way to make it. Otherwise run high risk areas.

Es ist ne blaue Coilgun, die wirklich Equalizer heißt. Die normale kannst du ihm nicht geben. Spiel normal weiter, bis eine dropt.

You get one as a reward for getting renown from doing jobs. Can't remember if it's the 2nd or 3rd rank reward

The equalizer is a special type of coil gun. You can't craft one, you have to loot one or get it as a reward.

Actually you can craft it but you need to do the improvise option and it's not viable imo unless saving first and reload if you don't get it fast. Or, as they said, reach 3.5k renown and claim the rewards. I found mine in a high risk area.

Thanks with this information. With crafting i wasn´t successfull. I did not find a catalyst with equalizerfunction right now. But my search is going on :)

I don't think there's a Catalyst for Equalizer. Catalysts add a prefix modifier (e.g. turning a Coil Gun into a Rapid Coil Gun) but Equalizer isn't a modifier. It's a variant weapon like Union Umbra or the Baron Executioner. You can even add a catalyst on top of it.
