It's disgusting, what a trash mission, I am not doing it.
I just wish they'd get rid of the timer entirely, or at least mark the explosives so I don't need to circle the damn thing in my bomber.
Personally I've never taken more than 1 attempt on any of them, and after I failed I just marked 3/5 of them and started with the two unmarked ones and did it very easily.
You're not even obliged to do them, so if you don't like them that much just ignore them.
they are really just another very simple puzzle like the other ones.
It's not that bad.
It was even more fun during the EA when it dropped only one ore
Yeah well,. that's coz you have a good coordination and ability to orient yourself in 3d space
Other's like the OP of this thread, can't think in 3 dimensions, and have a hard time finding it.
I just like to take a step back from these roids, so i can see it in its entirety and then circle it once and know where all those explovives are.
And then go go go time - i love these missions - even without any marker.
it's easy af if you have some coordination and can wrap your mind arround these 3d positions.
But this is also pretty much the reason not everyone is suited to be a fighter pilot...
Changing diffculties just for this is ridiculous and even then they are still timed, you just have more time to fight the control of your ship.
