Personally I recommend HOSAM setup, you get the fun and immersion of flying with a stick and mouse precision for combat.
Thanks for the idea. Is that where I fly with the joystick and aim weapons with the mouse?
Nice, sounds good. I'll give it a go. Do you have to choose the Joystick and Mouse override thing in setting?
EDIT: And how do you handle the ship's throttle? Use the keyboard?
Well, I'm having fun anyway. :) I think the short range thing is good, because (while not realistic in space combat) it gets you up close to the enemy ships, giving you a feeling of fighting like in Star Wars.
One of my criticisms of Star Citizen is, the space combat doesn't feel like dog fighting (which again, I know isn't realistic but it's more importantly, FUN).
