Commodity trading question

Im really living this game, but am I missing something when it comes the game mechanics on trading goods? I found a place where solar panels are at the lowest price they could go, so I bought as many as I could afford. The problem is I have been to 3 or 4 different stations and they ate ALL at the same price. Anyone have any ideas on what is going on?

Have you left ceto? I think the price is system wide.

Commodities are all roughly the same price throughout an entire system. You'll need to go to a different system if you want to make a profit. Take those solar panels over to Union and drop them off there.

You want to sell solar panels in Zharkov, they also buy liq, small arms for highest as well. While your there buy up all the mining eq because its the cheapest in this system and sell them in ceto.

I think it's a combination of that and regional variants. I have a vague memory of selling certain items with "3-dot-rating" at the Ceto Research Station (in the center of Ceto), and some of those goods had only 1 or 2 dots when trying to sell at Nephtys or the trade station next to the jumpgate. So same system, but different regions.

Trading commodities price are system wide similar as was mentioned before. However in global pretty stable and not fluctuating across all universe.
