Making Mad Money?
As a big fan of ES1, I'm enjoying ES2. though I think I prefer ES1, being unhappy with the changes to devices and energy. But enough about that.

I've just unlocked T4 ships, and I've just rescued the Okkar Envoy, and I'm wondering how to make excessive money I need for a single T4 ship. Right now, I'm still flying my T2+ Interceptor.

I've been trying to google ways to make money, and I fear most of them are outdated. I was wondering what eveyone's suggestions are for money grinding. Right now, my plan is to do 2~4 odd jobs from Kato Clan in Union, and every time I'm at the station, I'll buy and transfer as many Small Arms, Camdom Enzymes, and Earth Wine to home base. When my storage is full, I'll do runs between home and Siren's Field.

What's everyone else doing?

T4 ships are around 900k each. I just ran the endgame rifts over and over again, and sold everything that wasn't any good. It's a good way to get plenty of legendaries while making lots of money on the side.

I am farming Ancient Rifts and selling the non-legendary/good starforged loot bc I have so many non-purple crafting materials, I have no idea what to do with them.
You can do similar before you unlock Rifts by doing High Risk Areas.

Take any heavy ship (Bmbr, Vind, Gnshp) and load it with all the low demand commodities for sale at Prescott starbase from all the shops. Then take the load to Khione or Drake and sell them as high demand items (It's REALLY fast once you have your fast travel net running). I was able to net around 100-150k per trip. You can drop into unknown or distress calls on the way as well for more.

So that's 2 for "don't worry about it, wait until rifts" and 1 for an alternate commodity trade, huh? I'll keep playing naturally, maybe upgrade to a 3+ if the opportunity arises. Thanks.

Since you sell/trade in your ship for its full price, you should upgrade whenever possible. The extra stats will help you earn money faster so you can upgrade again when available.

Turns out I had enough liquid saved up to just BARELY get a T4 Interceptor. Not ideal passives, I want to swap the 15% speed on-far-lock with 30% energy refund on-hit. But hey, now I can go hard.

Only 8 more to go... Kind of wish I can buy T1 ships to fill garage slots to keep things organized.

When you have a T4 ship, selling current and buying new one is often very cheap. Just wait till you have one with perfect passives and buy it, picking "Buy & Sell Current" in Purchase Options. It'll prolly cost you around 50k at most.

Just do jobs, collect all the loot dropped in the area from killing enemies. Instead of dismantling gear, sell it. High level gear sells pretty high.

Dont stress yourself :) You can play pretty long without the actual need for a T4.
Sell the stuff, that you dont need/want (unless you want to dismantle stuff to upgrade your current equipment). Keep an Eye to the Store-items. Ceto sells solarpanels at a cheap price. Its a beginner trade-item. You can buy their entire stock and sell it in another system. Each system has different items, that are cheap in that system.
Yes, the trade is rather rudimentary, but if you enjoy flying around, maybe you can gather some money this way.

Solar panels and cybernetic implants from Ceto to Zharkov is still a solid method but you need the spatial bypass (ceto jump time reducer helps a lot too) for this to not be time consuming.

With a large cargo ship, you can make 80K easy in 15min or so.

Every shop in Ceto sells solar panels and/or implants. Visit them all then take your load to Zharkov...

And once you clear out all of Ceto's inventory, go to Union. At Prescott, proceed to buy out every stack of Earth Wine, Ramen, Small Arms, Liquor, even Medicine and Clothing, and then go unload those all at Athor Orbit in Khait Nebula.

Should net you a lot of cash. But really, just running jobs/distress signals/etc and selling the loot is probably faster, though you can do trading while watching Youtube or something since you don't have to concentrate much.
