Placing Spatial Bypasses where it doesn't make sense (mild spoilers)
I was talking to the community manager on your facebook and I noted that it didn't make sense to place two in Union. They suggested you had a reason.. so that made me think that would splitting up the side quest to place spatial bypasses into individual ones that unlock based on meeting objectives that make them make sense.

First one - Bypass at Ceta, Union (at the spaceport), Zharkov, Khait Nebula.

Drake and second union one later side quests gated behind quests that unlock areas to make them make sense placing a bypass

it makes no sense placing bypasses in areas where other people will be frequently. Considering this is special tech never seen by humans before, you would want to hide the devices so they aren't stolen by others. That makes the one at Prescott fundamentally irrational, because people would see it and steal it immediately to study it or sell it as alien tech.

Either way, 2 in one system is pointless no matter which way you cut the cheese.

It would be more logical to build space anchors - small devices that were attached to any beacon in an area, and would process relative coordinates for a spacial bypass. It would be a very small device attached to a beacon, and thus pass by undetected.
Then, spacial bypasses would be deploy-able consumables, that the player would drop, take some seconds to assemble, and activate one-time to jump into any active anchor.

the whole purpose of them being to go from any system to any system makes me really wonder why there's two in union
