where to find Baromite?

Baromite is abundant in at least two locations on the, "south," end of the Khait nebula.

Pure baromite is a somewhat uncommon resource that can drop from any baromite ore. Using a weapon with [+% chance of increased rarity ores] makes a huge difference, but you can still get pure baromite without it.

Thanks, not even seen a weapon with +% chance of rare ores any particular type of weapon? I usually use flak as that seems the quickest...

There's a craftable catalyst to increase your chances of rare ore drop that's pretty easy to obtain.

The Beam weapon often comes with a bonus to mining too, usually in the form of getting energy back when used to mine and more importantly, increased chance for rare materials while mining.

I found the beam laser to be the quickest. Turn on, sweep across the deposit, profit!

The disintegrator beam laser (named weapon) can have 115% more rare ore/mineral droprate (2.15x) and a 35% extra loot chance per ore patch (35% of 9 instead of 8 ores). It only has to be equipped for it to work, so it doesnt even have to be used while mining, just equipped :D

you guys know nothing. penumbra + catalyst mining is the best way to gathering minerals

Using a Cruise Missile is a good way to mine too. Can be a bit finicky, but if you aim for the outcrop and not in between, you will harvest everything instantly. just remember to stay at least 450m away or you'll be caught in the blast radius too.

You want quality not just quantity, so I strongly suggest taking the beam laser + mining catalyst approach. It's slower than flak, but you will get more pure ores instead of just more ores faster.

Best place to farm it seems to be Athor I, followed by Athorian Fault. Some of the unknown signals will also spawn asteroids with good ore, but that's less reliable.

I don't see anyone mentioning Khione. I farmed Khajit nebula, like everyone mentions, but than I went to Khione and found all the Baronite I needed. The random encounters "unknown signal" in Khoine can generate Baronite resources, and in great quantities.

Baromite areas in Unknown Signals in Khaït can also appear in large quantities. I popped into them at Drake as well, although it seems to be more focused on Phazium.
