There are many different devices which makes it difficult to ensure that each one functions. So my main question is, does your throttle separate forward and backward thrust axes?
If so, that's something we may look into in the future as it is low priority right now. For the time being, a solid (and often recommended by veteran space-game enthusiasts) software like Joystick Gremlin might be worth looking into.
PS. While Everspace 2 is a space game, it was designed for Mouse&Keyboard due to it's arcade/shooter play-style.
my throttle does not separate axes. It is only one.
The problem is that it doesn't even recognize a single button. I press any button to assign action and it does not respond
This might shed light on what's going wrong and help you get your setup going again. Hopefully the guy will get you on track to shoot some outlaws! :D
I connect 2 devices, a joystick and a throttle.
joystick works fine
but the other device does not detect me. I can't assign a key because I press it and it doesn't do anything.
Na, I understood that. :)
I recommend going through the troubleshooting thread linked in my previous message. It should help fix any issues. If not, let us know.

I have no problems saving but it does not detect the throttle as a device, the thottle goes on another usb and it is for this game as if it did not exist.
no action can be assigned because it does not act
