By zooming out I mean that the ship appears further away from the players' perspective. Its hard to describe in words. Imagine scrolling with your mousewheel away from your screen and your camera replicating that movement by gaining distance to the spaceship.
Yeah, its exactly that haha. Its not bad but I think it would be a nice quality of life feature to be able to move the camera.
Putting this to max helps reeaaaally slightly, but still far away from being comfortably playable. Is there some other way to manipulate the FoV? I don't mind config-tweaking if necessary.
I also noticed that depending on the ship you have, you tend to have a better view of your rear than with, say, a bomber.
I hope the devs will add a feature like that. Everspace 2 looks stunning on ultrawide otherwise, and the 16:9 centered HUD already shows some respect towards our minority :-)
